The Reinberger Parent/Child Resource Center at The Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development will hold an open house from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The center is located at 19910 Malvern Road in Shaker Heights.
The open-house is being held in conjunction with the free discussion and book-signing by noted children’s author Cornelia Spelman.
Visitors to the open house will have a chance to see the resources offered, to pick up program schedules, and learn how the Hanna Perkins approach offers a gentle way to understand children’s behavior as an important form of communication.
The open house is free and open to the public, and no reservations are required. Children of all ages are welcome, and visitors may also take the opportunity to meet Spelman and purchase one of her books for autographing.
The author’s formal discussion, which begins at 2 p.m., is also free and open to the public, but will not be of interest to small children. Due to limited seating, reservations for this portion of the event are strongly recommended. For more information, click here.
