Developing a Helpful Conscience

10 – 11:30 am
Monday, Apr. 9, 2018
With Judith Pitlick, MA, LPCC

The conscience is comprised of rules, prohibitions and experiences of early childhood tht often occur in the first five years of life. Because the conscience can be harsh and disapproving, adults must help children develop a helpful, kind and friendly consience.

This discussion will offer insights about:

  • At what age do children begin to develop a conscience

  • Children’s behavior

  • confuses parents, sometimes it seems that children don’t know right from wrong, when they are really struggling with their conscience.
