SHAKER HEIGHTS – The Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development has announced Zachary and Deborah Paris as the first recipients of its Hadden Award. It will honor the husband and wife at the “Spotlight On Our Stars” benefit on April 5.

Zachary Paris is a partner at Jones Day specializing in real estate law and a longtime member of the Hanna Perkins board of directors. Deborah Paris is a social worker and therapist with a long affiliation at Hanna Perkins. They  live in Shaker Heights.

Together they will receive the Hadden Award for their leadership and ardent commitment to Hanna Perkins, and for embodying the spirit of the organization.

The “Spotlight On Our Stars” benefit will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hanna Perkins Center, 19910 Malvern Road, Shaker Heights. In addition to the award program, it will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and live and silent auctions.

The benefit kicks off the Hanna Perkins celebration of the Week of the Young Child, which focuses attention on the needs of young children and their families, and recognizes early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.

Information about tickets and sponsorships to “Spotlight On Our Stars” is available from Hanna Perkins at 216-991-4472.

The Hadden Award honors the passionate commitment of Lainie and Dr. John Hadden, whose inspired dedication has enhanced the mission of The Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development. Lainie Hadden herself herself was honored by the organization at its 60th anniversary in 2011.
