Lake house vacation

Escape and relax at the Baer’s Den lake house located on beautiful Atwood Lake Ohio, a 90 minute drive from Shaker Heights. (Thursday 11:00 AM to Sunday at 4:00 PM on a mutually agreed on date)

The cottage is nestled in the pines and has stunning lake views and lots of room for entertaining with open concept living and dining rooms, a large deck for watching the sunset, campfire pit, chef’s kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a bunk house. (Sleeps 8 in house and 4 in bunkhouse).

Enjoy swimming at the cottage area beach, fishing, boating on the 10 mile lake, 2 marinas with restaurants and watercraft rentals.

Access to Atwood Lake campground and its amenities which include playgrounds, hiking trails and a swim beach with inflatables.  Nearby golf, historic Zoar Village and Tuscora Amusement Park.

Fish on! Guided excursion for bass or musky

Enjoy a full day on the water bass or musky fishing with Brendan Breen – a fishing fanatic and neighbor of Hanna Perkins. Brendan will guide two lucky people on his bass boat to a fishing spot of your choice:  Lake Erie, Mosquito Reservoir, West Branch Reservoir, or anywhere else fish are biting in the area. The trip can be arranged to accommodate any schedule. All gear will be provided, including lunch and drinks. Ohio fishing licenses are required for all anglers.

A Hanna Perkins ‘Living Room Chat’

Clinical Director Dr. Kimberly Bell (or another mutually agreed-upon Hanna Perkins therapist) will lead a child development discussion in an informal setting for up to 10 adults. Do you have a group of friends with children of similar ages? Does your child have a multiple family members or caregivers? Would parents at your workplace be interested in discussing how they can help their kids?

Once we can talk about feelings and worries, we can manage them. So what’s your concern: Understanding your child’s behavior? Balancing teen privacy v. secrecy? Kindergarten readiness? Social media? Discipline?
