A group of four to six early childhood directors and supervisors meet for ongoing sessions with an early childhood mental health professional. Participants study, discuss, and help teachers apply classroom interventions for preschoolers exhibiting challenging behaviors and developmental difficulties. This will be done by following cases of children brought by group participants, referring to various program frameworks for addressing children’s behaviors and emotional development in classroom settings, and considering the partnerships with parents as an important component of the interventions. (Community of Learners)

This program is approved by the State of Ohio and is aligned with Ohio’s Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) standards.
