Susi Yarus Meisel was honored as the recipient of the Hadden Award by the Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development (HPC) at its benefit, celebrating its 65th anniversary.
Stephanie Harig and Jean Sarlson were co-chairmen of the party attended by 230 guests at the Hanna Perkins Center in Shaker Heights. The silent auction, a wine pull and a liquor basket raffle were set up in classrooms, with everyone enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before adjourning to the gymnasium for dinner by Marigold Catering. Before dinner, HPC CEO Karen Baer welcomed the guests and announced that in the fall, the first class for children on the autism spectrum will begin.[READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE at the Currents News]
