Kim Conklin_lowresKim Conklin joined Hanna Perkins in 2016 as a teacher in the EPIC Program for children with Autism Spectrum diagnoses.

With a bachelor’s degree in social work from Ohio University, and a master’s in Psychology – Counseling and Psychotherapy from Antioch University Seattle, Conklin began her work life with adolescents in therapeutic settings.

She went on to attain an American Montessori Society Preprimary certificate, and taught in a Montessori classroom. Following a period of stay-at-home parenting, Conklin returned to teaching in the early childhood program at The Music Settlement. There, she spent nine years as a science specialist and two as a pre-kindergarten integrated-classroom teacher.
