It’s like taking your grandchild
to ‘pre-preschool’

In our Toddler-and-Grandparent Socialization Play Group, you’ll have quality playtime with your grandchild while he or she takes the first important steps toward school readiness.

It’s two 90-minute sessions of developmentally mindful fun, guided by Hanna Perkins’ own early childhood specialists; plus a grandparents-only discussion about what you observed and learned.

What’s in it for children:

  • Age-appropriate activities with grandma and/or grandpa
  • Exposure to other children and new adults in an environment that feels safe and comfortable
  • Familiarity with group activities and experiences for an easier transition to preschool
  • Practice with social interactions that many toddlers missed out on during the pandemic

REGISTER BY Friday, Sept. 3

Don’t wait until the last minute; space is limited.

What’s in it for grandparents:

  • Quality one-on-one play time with your grandchild
  • New understanding of the giant social-emotional leaps toddlers experience
  • The joy of watching early child development as it happens from the perspective that only a grandparent knows

It’s followed by an online grandparents’ discussion group, led by a Hanna Perkins child therapist, to ask questions, understand a child’s reactions to early social experiences, and be the best grandparent possible.
