This is more than a simple play group. It’s fun and every moment has purpose.

Hanna Perkins’ parent/toddler group gives young children manageable exposure to the kind of social experiences that will become part of their everyday lives, and it introduces them to the process of learning.

A structured, predictable schedule helps toddlers with their rudimentary understanding of time, and frees them to enjoy activities without worrying about what might happen next. It also begins preparing them for the structured environment they’ll experience later at school.

Meanwhile, parents gain a better understanding of what’s going on in a toddler’s mind, and they get helpful tools to effectively guide the child through this important developmental stage.

Our summer program will be held 9:30-11 a.m. each Tuesday and Wednesday in June.

It is open to 8 parent/toddler pairs, and will be staffed with a teacher and a skilled aide.
